With the presence of the Managing Director Mr. Ahmet Ismaili, the Mayor of the Municipality of Malisheva Mr. Ekrem Kastrati, the Deputy Chief for Cooperation in the EU Office Mr. Alessandro Bianciardi, Deputy Minister of Economy Mr. Getoar Mjeku, Rhedon Begolli - Senior Energy Specialist at the World Bank and other representatives of our partners, the measures for energy efficiency in the amount of 411,213.50 euros invested by the Kosovo Energy Efficiency Fund were inaugurated in The Municipal Building and the "Hamdi Berisha" school in Malishevë.

 The energy efficiency measures that have been implemented include the replacement of old windows and doors with new efficient ones, the replacement of inefficient light fixtures with LED ones, the installation of a new heating network, a pellet boiler at the "Hamdi Berisha" school, while heat pump heating system in the Municipal Building.

 It is estimated that in the Municipal Building these measures will result in energy savings of about 55% and that 91 people will benefit directly from these investments. While at the "Hamdi Berisha" School, energy savings of about 57% will result, and 1,619 students and staff of this school will be direct beneficiaries.
