Ardita Haxhiaj was appointed Director of the Department of Finance in January 2024. She has a rich and comprehensive experience in the public sector. She has around 13 years of professional experience in important positions within key public institutions, such as the Treasury of Kosovo and the National Audit Office. Haxhiaj is a certified accountant, a public sector internal auditor, and a trainer for financial management and control. She holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting and has attended a series of professional trainings.
